How does the ranking system work?

Rallio uses an ELO-based rating system. After every recorded match, both teams' ratings update based on the result and the relative skill difference. Win against stronger opponents and gain more points; lose to weaker opponents and drop more. Your rating appears on the national and city leaderboards.

How do waitlists work?

When a game is full, you can join its waitlist with one tap. If any of the four players cancels, everyone on the waitlist gets a push notification immediately. The first person to accept claims the spot.

How do I find a coach?

Go to the Coaches section from any device, filter by specialty, level, price, language, or arena, and view a coach's profile. Profiles include their bio, training types, certifications, reviews, pricing, and live availability. You can book a session directly from the page.

What is the Marketplace?

The Marketplace lets players buy and sell second-hand padel gear — rackets, shoes, bags, and accessories — directly within the app. Listings include condition ratings (new, like-new, used, worn) and photos. Buyer and seller communicate via in-app messaging.

Can I create a private group for my regular partners?

Yes. Groups (sometimes called Guilds) let you create a private or public group, schedule games together, and generate a Viber group invite link and QR code automatically. Group admins can invite, remove, and promote members.

How do I join Rallio as a coach?

Coaches are added by an arena they work with. The arena admin generates an invite link from their admin panel and sends it to you. Once you register via that link, your trainer portal is activated and linked to that arena.

Yes. Your trainer portal supports multiple arenas — you configure your availability slots separately per location. Your public profile shows availability grouped by arena, so players can book you at the right venue.

How does session booking work?

You set your available time slots per arena. Players can only book within those windows. Once a player books, you receive an instant confirmation and the session appears in your daily sessions view. You can add coaching notes, track progress, and manage cancellations from the same screen.

How do reviews work?

After each completed session, Rallio automatically sends the player a review prompt. Reviews include an overall star rating plus category scores (technique, communication, punctuality). You can respond publicly to any review. Your aggregate rating is displayed on your public profile.

Yes — at the database level. Rallio uses PostgreSQL GIST exclusion constraints to make double-booking physically impossible. No two bookings can overlap on the same court, regardless of how many users book simultaneously.

Yes. Rallio's pricing engine supports peak/off-peak rates by hour and day of week, up to three membership discount tiers (standard, premium, VIP), per-court overrides, and promo codes with usage limits and expiry dates. All changes go live the moment you save.

You create a tournament from the admin panel, set the format (single elimination, double elimination, or round robin), set a registration deadline, and Rallio generates the bracket automatically once registration closes.
